The Kai Ika Project has grown from an idea into a collective community goal. Their goal – to minimise food waste by ensuring that each fish taken is fully utilised. Read about this fantastic initiative by Outboard Boating Club of Auckland, Papatūānuku Kōkiri Marae of South Auckland, LegaSea, and the NZ Sport Fishing Council in our latest issue.

In other news, New Zealand is set to host a world-first superyacht sport fishing competition in the Bay of Islands next year, funding for safer boating initiatives have been announced, Yamaha has released its 2022 line-up of WaveRunners, and the inaugural Feral Goat Hunt Competition was cancelled after COVID-19 were put in place.
