This month, we delve into the world of WithWild, an innovative organisation that’s ticking boxes in the conservation, sustainability, and culinary spaces.
Founded in 2020 by a group of like-minded individuals, WithWild was born with the intention of honouring the free-roaming wapiti animals by acknowledging them as a valuable food resource.
The organisation takes the majority of the wapiti meat from the selective control programme and distributes it to a variety of hospitality outlets, from cafés to fine dining establishments, via Awatoru Wildfoods, based in the Kapiti Coast.
